Q: What is a “feather bed” protector?
A feather bed protector works just like a pillowcase would for your pillow or a duvet cover works for your duvet. Essentially, it is a protective cover. A feather bed protector will have some way to close it; buttons, zipper or ties. We use mother of pearl buttons and an envelope design to enclose the feather bed. It is easily removable for washing with the rest of your bed linens.
Q: What does a “feather bed” protector do?
Essentially, it is a protective cover designed to protect your feather bed so we don’t have to wash the feather bed. The protector can easily be removed and washed to protect the feather bed from oils and moisture which cause the unsightly yellowing if not washed with your other bed linens.
Q: What does a “feather bed” protector do?
Certainly not required but highly recommended. Your feather bed is to be used under your fitted sheet and on top of your mattress. If you plan on washing your fitted sheets with the rest of your bed linens every weekend you might be able to skip the additional protection of oils and moisture which cause the unsightly yellowing if not washed.
